We have done our best to keep these costs as low as possible while allowing us to use a courier company that can track deliveries. We have no minimum order amount and excellent carriage charges as follows.
Sample Delivery rates for Republic of Ireland & Northern Ireland:
€6.99 – Small orders less than 1kg (up to 20 rolls of film for example)
€8.00 – Medium Orders between 1 and 2kg, a lot of the 1ltr bottles of chemistry will be in this range.
€9.99 – Orders up to 20kg or bulky items (developing trays, 16×20 paper etc)
Orders are usually delivered three working days following the date of order but occasionally there may be delays at busy times for our couriers which is out of our control. Therefore it is advisable to order your supplies well in advance of when you need them.
It is very important that you enter your correct phone number and Eircode when ordering, as this information is required by the courier.
Collections: We are an online shop and typically we cannot arrange for collection – but sometimes this is possible so please email us if you feel this is essential.
Packaging: As part of a responsible and sustainable business model, we try to reduce our carbon footprint by using previously used packing materials that come from our suppliers and elsewhere.
International delivery: We are delighted to be able to ship worldwide from our stores in Ireland so if you are looking for some of our excellent products send us a mail with your needs including a rough address and we will give you a shipping estimate.
Delivery rates to United Kingdom:
We know that in a post Brexit world it can be a bit harder to get some products in the UK, we can help!
Rates from €17.00 to €23.00 depending on weight and size of package. If you are purchasing small light items, such as film, please contact us as we can send by post for a cheaper rate.
Returns
The Photo Shop will accept returns of goods purchased with the following conditions:
- Returns must be made no later than 14 days after receipt.
- The customer must contact The Photo Shop prior to returning any goods by emailing info@thephotoshop.ie or by completing our returns form which is available on our web site.
- Returns are sent at the customer’s expense. It is advised to send goods by a registered and insured service, as we will not be responsible if they are lost or damaged on return.
- Any goods returned must be in their original undamaged packaging including any accessories, instructions and purchase invoice.
- Refunds will be made within 5 days of return provided the goods returned are in their original new and undamaged condition.Other exceptions include

- Goods made to the customer’s specifications.
- Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
Damaged or Faulty Goods
The Photo Shop will accept returns of damaged goods received with the following conditions:
- Goods damaged in transit must be reported to The Photo Shop within 2 days of receipt.
- Any goods found to be faulty must be reported within within 30 days of receipt.
- A choice of exchange or refund will be offered.
- In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the goods and verify the fault and if no fault is found, return the goods to the customer without any refund being made.
- Damaged goods due to accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear caused by the customer will not be accepted for return.
- Any refunds due to faulty goods will include the cost of the customer’s return carriage.
